Commission Terms of Service
This is generally just a reference for new commissioners and also to keep the more dishonest kind of people from scamming Kashira with claims she doesn't have written rules for commissions, or similar such things. She is always willing to discuss the specifics of the below terms and will gladly answer any and all questions you may have.
Payment and Timeframe
I. PaymentPayment is preferred with half upfront, though this isn't necessary, but full payment is expected before the finished art will be given to you. Plenty of compressed progress pieces will be given before the art is finished, so you'll have a good idea of what your art will look like before the piece is finished! Kashira will also be happy to send you a hard copy of your art, but you'll have to pay a little extra for the shipping costs.
Both Paypal and the postal service are always available as payment options; the Paypal e-mail or Kashira's home address are both given in private contact. Game currency as a payment option will only be available rarely and irregularly; availability will be posted on the main commission page.
II. Minimum PriceAny art will not be sold for less than the minimum of what is on the commissions page, regardless of what prices were in the past. Prices are subject to change, and may not be negotiated lower than the minimum total amount for the desired picture. (As an example, an ink drawing with two characters and a detailed landscape background is 10 + 4 + 10, so cannot be bought for less than $24.)
III. Price VariationsAll the posted prices on the commission main page assume you only want a picture of a single character and a simple abstract background. Extra detail will cost more, and what is generally decided as "extra" is set by Kashira.
IV. TimeframeCommissions are completed within a maximum time of six months per piece. Though most commissions will not take this long (a few weeks is standard), Kashira asks that her commissioners be patient with her.
Commission Content
I. StyleKashira won't draw in someone else's style, even if you'll pay her to, so please don't ask! She will gladly draw for you in her own style, though.
II. Objectionable Content
Anything Kashira finds objectionable she will refuse to draw before any work is started or payment is made. This is including but not limited to: fetishes of any kind, excessive violence, gore, and anything with sexual content. If she recieves notification that the commission she's taken is to be edited to include something she refuses to draw, all work on the piece will cease immediately and a partial refund will be given.
III. References and DetailDetailed descriptions and plenty of reference pictures will help greatly in getting your art finished as quickly as possible. This isn't a requirement, but helps in getting the commission done at a quicker pace.
IV. Edits
Up to 7 total free edits may be made on one piece. Edits past 7 can be made, but there will be a 5%-10% increase in the original price of the art per extra edit, edit price depending on the complexity of the art and how much must be changed. Any specific parts of a commission that were previously verified as needing absolutely no change (specific pose, expression, etc.) cannot be changed once ok'ed. Therefore, any edits requested after the commissioner has already approved that part of the piece will require payment as if they were requesting extra edits.
Ownership and Rights
I. RightsCommissioners own the picture they commission, and may repost the picture to other places or give it away as a gift if they give credit to Kashira as the artist. However, commissioners do not have the right to resell or reproduce with the intent to sell their commissioned art, and also cannot claim themselves to be the artist.
II. Inability to Follow the TOSAny problems with the TOS not being followed Kashira will attempt to work out with the commissioner in a civil manner. If there are issues with the TOS not being followed that absolutely cannot be worked through, Kashira reserves the right to cancel the commission and refund the commissioner based on how much work was already put into the commission.
